We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new CEO Helen Davey.
Helen has over 26 years’ experience of the charity sector and local government, in senior management and hands-on roles.
Helen studied Physical Education at the University of Birmingham then moved to Huntingdon to work for the Local Authority in facility management and community physical activity development. Later she moved to Yorkshire to join sports coach UK, a sports coaching charity. She held a number of different roles there, working up from Yorkshire Development Officer to Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Helen has a wide range of skills from leadership, business development and operational performance through to governance and relationship management.

Helen lives in Otley with her partner, loves being an auntie and is most at home exploring the Dales on her mountain bike with friends and family.
