Community Outreach, Recovery and Engagement (CORE) Worker

Are you dedicated to creating a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges? If so we look forward to hearing from you!  The aim of this service is to support people in the community setting who are experiencing serious mental illness and, who cannot currently access statutory services or are transitioning between statutory and community support.

The role will appeal to those who have…

  • Have experience of working with adults in a health, social care or any other relevant setting
  • Have a good knowledge of services across the Bradford District
  • A passion to help improve people’s lives
  • Have excellent communication skills and feel confident in supporting people in a clear, meaningful and non-judgemental way
  • A commitment to excellence
  • Have good organisational and IT skills
  • Are confident in recognising and responding to risk and safeguarding concerns
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive in solutions
  • Passion for multi-agency working
  • Willingness to travel (Full UK driving licence & have access to a car)

Important information 

Salary: £12 – £13.14 per hour

Contract: Temporary for 12 months with the potential for extension dependent on funding.

Hours: 37 hours (2 posts)

Probation: 6 months 

Closing date: Sunday 19th May 2024

Interview date: Wednesday 29th & Thursday 30th May 2024
