Team Leader – Safe Spaces

The Role
You will lead a team of Crisis Support Workers to ensure the effective running of the Safe Spaces service. You will also deliver one-to-one crisis support to clients face to face or over the telephone. Safe Spaces is a non-clinical, supportive environment designed to help people in crisis stay safe, work through and understand their feelings, and then help them to access the support they need going forward.
Team Leaders are essential for the effectiveness of our service, as they play a pivotal role supervising, inspiring, and connecting with our crisis support workers to ensure the optimal support for our clients.

This role will appeal to those who have an empathetic, non-judgmental approach, and who are passionate about supporting people to create positive changes in their lives. You will need to be confident in managing people and working both independently and as part of a team, and will be passionate about supporting others.
At Safe Spaces, a Team Leader must showcase a deep commitment to supporting people to move forward, exhibit strong leadership qualities through personal example, possess adept problem-solving skills, and demonstrate adaptability and quick thinking
Shifts available
- Tuesday 19:00 – 02:30* (Bradford Hub)
- Wednesday 19:00 – 02:30* (Bradford Hub)
- Sunday 11:30-19:30 (Keighley)
* Please mention your preferred shifts in the cover letter, any selections will be discussed if you are shortlisted for interview.
*All of the late shifts include a night time enhancement of £8.40 per shift.
What do we offer
Salary scale: Team Leader: £26,453 – £29,796 per annum FTE
Base: Kenburgh House, 28 Manor Row, Central Bradford, with occasional travel across the district
Responsible to: Service Manager
Annual Leave: 25 days pro-rata
Pension: We operate a contributory pension scheme which you will be
auto- enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme).
Probationary period: 6 months
