Charity Cricket raises more than £1,000

A huge thank you to mother and daughter team Jenny and Becca Lyons who organised a charity cricket match in memory of husband and dad, Gavin.

The event at Thackley Cricket Club was supported by lots of local of people as well as The Idle Draper & Beerhouse, who ran a raffle, and ND Dance Academy, who fielded a team of cheerleaders.

Thank you too to all who donated prizes for the raffle and supported the event. All the £1,010 raised will go towards supporting people with emotional and mental health problems across the district.
