Bradford District and Craven Mind are excited to announce that our new service for children and young people, called ‘Know Your Mind’, is now open for referrals!
If you are aged between 8 – 19 and up to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities and are experiencing challenges around mental health and emotional wellbeing, we are here to help you feel more equipped and empowered to enjoy life.
Know Your Mind offers a range of different services, including group work and one to one sessions, for children and young people who live in the central Bradford area.

We would also like to thank everybody who took part in the survey to name the service. We know that we had previously announced on social media that the service was going to be called ‘Mind Bubble’. Although we loved the name, there were some concerns raised that this would be confusing due to ‘bubbles’ being used to talk about coronavirus. We have taken this feedback on board, as we want to have a service name that young people have chosen, and that people working with young people feel is clear and easy to talk about. We therefore decided to use the name for the service that was the next most popular in our survey, which is ‘Know Your Mind’, and use ‘Mind Bubble’ for one of our peer support groups.
Our Know Your Mind team are looking forward to meeting and working with the children and young people of central Bradford. We hope to see you soon!
