Mind Your Business is a monthly networking event for businesses and professionals who are passionate about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The events bring together business professionals and leaders to promote and champion workplace wellbeing with like-minded professionals. These monthly events provide a safe and supportive environment to share your experiences and ask the experts questions.
Each event is themed around a specific topic, providing an opportunity to share specialist knowledge and skills to support your workplace. Colin Grist, Creative Director at Few and Far® was one of our guest speakers recently:
It was an honour to be asked to speak at the recent Mind Your Business event about my own experiences with mental health and my journey as a business founder. The feedback from my talk was very positive and I met some wonderful people at the event – which I’ve stayed in contact with ever since. A very enjoyable event that I’d ask anyone to consider going along to.
At every event, we will share valuable insights into workplace wellbeing and how you can support your teams with their mental health at work. Keep an eye out on Linkedin to find out who are guest speakers will be each month.
We recognise the challenges that come with supporting workforces of all sizes with their mental health. As part of our Mind Your Business events, we will be sharing exclusive resources and tools for managers and employees.
All attendees at our event in April will be sent our Stress Bucket resource to share with colleagues and employees. The Stress Bucket is a useful tool to help you identify factors that may be causing you stress and useful coping strategies you can adopt to relieve stress you may be experiencing.
Finally it wouldn’t be a networking event without some good coffee, tea and pastries thrown in for good measure. Skip breakfast and join us from 8am at Assembly for a strong Yorkshire Tea and a Cinnamon Bun.
Our next event is Thursday 25th April 08:00-10:00 at Assembly Bradford, BD1 3HT (Google Map link) and will be themed around preparing your organisation to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week (13-19 May), limited places available so book your free place now!
Assembly are kindly offering free co-working space for the rest of the day, first come first served, so stick around after our event finishes to work in their beautiful space.
We look forward to seeing you bright and early!
