What support can I expect?

Support in our hubs

You will receive same day crisis support from one of our trained Crisis Support Workers who will provide a safe space to talk about how you’re feeling.

They will help you explore coping strategies to manage your crisis or mental health distress. Where appropriate, they can also refer you to other services for additional support.

Our Safe Spaces hubs in Bradford and Keighley are open 365 days a year, providing urgent, same day support for anyone aged 7 and over in person or over the phone. Bradford Hub is open from 12pm until 2:30am and Keighley Hub is open 4pm-10pm.

We can arrange paid for transport, if required, to both our hubs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I get support for?

You can come to us for support with whatever you’re going through—we’re here to listen and help. Some of the things people talk to us about include:

  • Overwhelming feelings of worry or fear
  • Panic that feels hard to control
  • Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
  • Deep feelings of sadness or hopelessness
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or the world around you

You don’t need a diagnosis or a referral—if you’re struggling, we’re here for you.

Will the information I share be kept confidential?

Yes, we take your privacy seriously. What you tell us stays between you and our team. The only time we might need to share information is if we’re really worried about your safety or someone else’s. If that happens, we’ll always try to talk to you about it first and explain what needs to happen.

Is the service free?

Yes, all our crisis support services are completely free to access.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, if it helps you feel more comfortable, you’re welcome to bring a friend, family member, or support worker.

What happens if I need more help after my visit?

We can help you explore next steps, including coping strategies, signposting to other services, or referrals where appropriate.

Is the service accessible?

We aim to make our spaces as inclusive as possible. If you have any specific access needs, let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

I have a baby, will I be able to bring them?
