What support can I expect?

Support in our hubs

You will receive same day crisis support from one of our trained Crisis Support Workers who will provide a safe space to talk about how you’re feeling.

They will help you explore coping strategies to manage your crisis or mental health distress. Where appropriate, they can also refer you to other services for additional support.

Our Safe Spaces hubs in Bradford and Keighley are open 365 days a year, providing urgent, same day support for anyone aged 7 and over in person or over the phone. Bradford Hub is open from 12pm until 2:30am and Keighley Hub is open 4pm-10pm.

We can arrange paid for transport, if required, to both our hubs.

Life-saver

“The place is a literal haven from the panic and insecurity I have sometimes felt. It is a life-saver, and such a comfort to know that someone can speak to you in person during periods of isolation”.

Hope

“The session did me the world of good. It was a complete safety net, as if I had previously been falling. It gave me hope. It was great to have a taxi provided so there was no worry about where I was going.”

Comfort

“It’s always such a comfort to talk and share that time together. I’m out and about today, which feels refreshing, and I’m really grateful to be feeling better. We had a heartfelt conversation about Christmas and how he’s been feeling, and I truly appreciate those moments.”

Perspective

“It was nice to talk to someone who listened. It was nice to get a different perspective on the issues I’m facing, and I felt like my feelings were validated. The service was very accommodating”
