Community Outreach Recovery and Engagement Worker

The role involves supporting individuals in community settings who are experiencing Severe Mental Illness to live fulfilled lives, enable them to stay well and access community support as needed. This will be in collaboration with local Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) and other professionals. You will work closely with CMHTs to support recovery-focused care and enable individuals to access the help they need.
This role will appeal to people who have:
- Experience of working with children, young people or adults in a health, social care or any other relevant setting
- Have a good knowledge of services across Bradford District and Craven
- A passion to help improve people’s lives
- Have excellent communication skills and feel confident in supporting people in a clear, meaningful and non-judgemental way
- Are confident in recognising and responding to risk and safeguarding concerns
Role details
Salary scale: £13.67 – £ 25,523.98 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 34.5 hours per week (21 hrs on CORE – 13.5 hours on SMILE)
Base: Kenburgh House, 28 Manor Row, Bradford, BD1 4QU with requirement to travel between service locations
Responsible to: Service Manager
Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
Pension: We operate a contributory pension scheme which you will be auto-enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme).
Probationary Period: 6 months
