Mental health community worker
Are you dedicated to creating a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges?
If so we look forward to hearing from you! The role is to support people in the community setting who are experiencing serious mental illness and, enabling them to stay well and access community support as needed. You will be working with Primary and Secondary Care as part of our CORE Service.
The role will appeal to those who have:
- Have experience of working with adults in a health, social care or any other relevant setting
- Have excellent communication skills and feel confident in supporting people in a clear, meaningful and non-judgemental way
- Have good organisational and IT skills
- Are confident in recognising and responding to risk and safeguarding concerns
- Willingness to travel (Full UK driving licence & have access to a car)
Job role details
Salary scale: £13.14 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time 37 hours
Base: Kenburgh House, 28 Manor Row, Bradford, BD1 4QU with requirement to travel between service locations
Responsible to: Service Manager
Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
Pension: We operate a contributory pension scheme which you will be auto-enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme).
Probationary Period: 6 months
